A “Vivid Pink” ring auctioned for a record $10.8million


Christie’s finally found a buyer for its rare Pink Diamond! Imagine expecting $8million and getting $10.8million instead! A rare “Vivid Pink” glittering five-carat stone set between two shimmering white diamonds set in a ring owned by U.K. billionaire Laurence Graff went under the hammer at Christie’s last week. What makes this stone special is its rich bubblegum colored even hue, and only one in a hundred thousand is just as special as this one.
