Andy Warhol’s “Sixteen Jackies” to fetch $30 Million in New York

Andy Warhol’s fancy wasn’t really limited to blond bombshells and Hollywood beauties; he loved politics just as much. His much complex and striking 1964 painting of First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy through the turmoil of her husband, John F Kennedy’s assignation, titled “Sixteen Jackies” is all set to be auctioned off at Sotheby’s New York. Warhol’s multiple image repetition painting, the paintings are set in backgrounds of blues, white and a very rare gold hue. The painting touted to sell at $30 million.
