Batman comic fetches $420,000, beats Superman’s 1938 comic record

Remember the 1938 edition of Superman which was also its first issue and was auctioned off for $317,200 last year? It has a new comic successor to snatch its laurels as the highest bid paid for any comic book. The 1939 comic book with Batman’s bidding price’s first appearance has already sky-rocketed to a world’s record $418,250 with two weeks remaining in a public auction conducted by Heritage Auctions of Dallas, Texas that ends February 25th, 2010. I wonder who will be joining next in the War of Comics!
Thanks Donn
