This bit of dope is really fascinating for the ones who have been fervent fans of cars and even more for the ones who love collecting miniatures. Thanks to Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) the pedal cars have lent a hand in reviving the lost art form. The weekend-long, larger-than-life auction kicks off with AACA’s Night at the Museum fundraising gala on October 8th. Eleven pedal cars, designed and built by Steve Pasteiner, PSI, restorer Fran Roxas, Dale Adams Enterprises, Mike Brown and the team at Al Prueitt and Sons, among others, are set to cross the block. Each builder started with a replica of the Champion Comet, before chopping, cutting and refinishing.
Dipping in creativity, they are surely gonna take you back to yesteryears. Steve Moskowitz, Executive Director of the AACA said, “These pedal cars are over the top and show what true craftsman can do with talent and imagination. Some of these may very be the finest pedal cars ever built.” Here’s to beauty on wheels!
