Emirates exclusive Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec TimeWriter Collection auctioned off


When brands grow big, their hearts need to grow too. At least that seems to be the way Emirates and Montblanc have taken, by pitching in $90,000 for two charities namely, The Smile Train and the Emirates Airline Foundation to end their joint bid onboard competition. As per the contest, bids were made for a limited edition Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec TimeWriter Collection timepiece made exclusively for Emirates. The watch with a two-tone dial design in 18 carat red gold celebrating 190th anniversary of the chronograph.

Bids started at $45,000 and the watch attracted 87 bids. The winning bid was worth $90,000. While the money goes to charity the lucky anonymous winner can stake claim to a First Class Emirates flights and a two-night stay at the luxurious Montblanc Chateau, LeLocle.
