Ferrari 599 China Edition car auctioned for $1.7million in Beijing


One of the exclusive Ferrari 599 China Edition cars was auctioned recently in Beijing. The limited-edition car fetched a whopping €1.2 million ($1.7million)! The lucky bidder was an anonymous, silent auction participant based in Shanghai. The beautiful car was auctioned at the automakers’ fundraising dinner at the Red Gate Gallery in Beijing. All proceeds from the sale will help fund and benefit Tsinghua University auto engineering students and teachers to study at the Politecnico di Milano University in Italy. What is more, scholarship winners will also get the opportunity to intern at Ferrari! Ferrari has also distributed a 2:23 video detailing the entire process of the auction.
