Rare transparent $25,000-worth Mac SE fizzes out on eBay auction

Apple seems to have a lot of lovers, but then again not all of their products can manage buyers either. After successfully selling the Apple 1 PCs, the company tried to sell a rare transparent Mac SE which was created for internal company use with a transparent shell for designers to take a peak into the component placement. But the item turned out to be a damp squib as it didn’t find any takers. On bid through eBay this extremely rare Mac SE didn’t even garner a single bid. The initial bidding price was set at $25,000, and the divided needed an 800k floppy drive to boot on. It may be rare, but it also needs obsolete items to get up and running! No wonder, no one wants one of these!
