The result is a limited edition razor which is plated with 24 karat gold accompanied by a sterling silver razor. An ergonomic handle makes it possible for shavers to grip this gilded beauty without granting them any scars of vanity. The red, white and navy strips outline the signature Thom Browne design across the handle.
Something this exquisite ought to be presented in a fitting packaging. The golden razor arrives in a premium leather box, which is lined with suede. Atop it you will find the red, white and navy grosgrain ribbon with the necessary inscriptions made.
The golden razor will go on sale for $250 while the sterling silver rendition will cost $150. They arrived at Barneys on August 13th and are pretty much a spectacle to behold among other fineries. The motive behind creating this razor is indeed noble. All proceeds from the sale of the golden and silver razors will go towards God’s Love We Deliver and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
