After successful collaborations with a number of footwear designers including Jimmy Choo, Charlotte Olympia and Nicholas Kirkwood as well as a beautiful window display from Harrods, Disney’s next collaboration – in anticipation of their live action movie, Cinderella- is finally underway. The company joined hands with makeup giants MAC to create a collection of beauty products inspired by the princess movie.
The 17 piece collection includes loose shimmer powders, lipsticks and glosses, mascara, eyeshadows, pressed powders and eyeglosses in pretty shades of pink, peach and taupe. Two makeup brushes round out the collection which also features a loose pigment inspired by the evil stepmother! The products bear the Disney and Cinderella logos and feature powder blue accents presumably inspired by the color of Princess Cinderella’s famous blue ball gown.
Priced between $17 and $35, the collection is highly affordable and perhaps for this very reason it sold out online within a few hours of being launched. If you can afford to pay about 5-6 times the original price, head to ebay where enterprising individuals are selling the products at a huge markup. If you’d like to snag the collection at retail value, we recommend running to the nearest MAC counter as fast as you can, because we can pretty much guarantee that this collection will sell out at stores soon too.
