Apple’s largest store will come up in New York’s Grand Central Terminal
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, and an Apple every now and then makes you hep and chic! And in a positive move for frequently flying Apple fans that stop over at New York’s Grand Central Terminal will have something to keep them occupied. In confirmed news, Apple is all set to open a store by the name of the Apple Store, Grand Central; an official statement will be made soon. Celebrating their 10th year into retailing, the company is all set to make this the largest store ever, bigger than its 16,372 square feet store at Covent Garden, London.
A report from the Observer also stated that Apple isn’t looking at the traditional retail spaces, but will be housed inside the terminal itself. Another observation from IFOAppleStore says that the move is primarily to divert the heavy rush from the famed glass cube store on Fifth Avenue, which is just a mile away from the new store.
