This September New York-based Saks Fifth Avenue will see the new look of its New York flagship’s third floor. Saks Fifth Avenue saw a yearlong renovation. The New York Flagship Third Floor which has 50,000 sq. ft. space will incorporate 23 designer shops and lease department in the United States to feature the complete collection of Louis Vuitton, and a new Fifth Avenue Club within itself. The central area of the floor is set aside for upcoming designers. The things to see on the third-floor include onyx walls and a Swarovski installation. The lacey, gold-leaf-gilded screens separating vendor shops and contributed the floor’s three illuminated tree-limb chandeliers were all designed by Artist Michele Oka Doner.
Mancini Duffy, an architectural firm collaborated with Saks to design elements on the floor . Zaha Hadid, India Mahdavi, Kathy Moss, Stephanie Odegard, Linda Stojak and Sidonie Villere were responsible for designing furniture and display pieces throughout the floor.
