Up until now, we only thought Beyonce lavishes her little kid, Blu Ivy, with the choicest and the priciest of gifts. Little did we know that the pop star would readily shell out about $14,000 (£9,000) for Kim Kardashian’s baby shower. Yes, $14,000 was spent on a crystal-studded high chair designed by Carla Monchen, just like the one the pop star long purchased for her own daughter. Although the fact remains that Beyonce couldn’t personally attend the event due to her tour, she had politely declined Kim’s invite, making up for her absence with the extravagant gift.
Apart from Beyonce, even Gwyneth Paltrow couldn’t make it to the baby shower. But as compared to Beyonce, Gwyneth’s gift was a little less extravagant – a $544 (£350) Vitamix blender and a 21-day cleanse that will help Kim get back in shape after the pregnancy. Gwyneth didn’t make it for the baby shower because she and Kim had met just a month back at the gym and weren’t acquainted with each other. Nonetheless, with Kelly Osbourne and Kimberly Stewart, we are pretty sure Kim’s baby shower would have been a total success!
