Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie splurge $73 million on their new home in France

Hollywood’s most sought after couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, have finally purchased a £35million ($56.7million) home in France to raise their kids in. The lucky property to house this famous family is 17th-Century Chateau Miraval, set on a 1,000-acre estate in Provence. It was the fact that the children can have a normal life that prompted the couple to invest in this property in France. Now the golden couple is splurging an additional £10million ($16.2million) to renovate this house and turn it into their dream home. The couple wishes to give all the 35 bedrooms of this lavish property a ‘contemporary feel”. Besides that, the couple plans to add Jacuzzis, steam rooms and a spa, a new gym, an expanded wine cellar, and even a motorbike track for Brad. The beautiful Miraval property comes with a vineyard, swimming pool, moat, lake and forest, and a three-mile-long driveway up to the main house. There are 20 fountains and aqueducts, while the cascading stone-walled terraces have been replanted with 13 different olives varieties. The couple plans to improve the security around this £45million house by adding a surveillance center, spy cameras, alarms, and infra-red sensors. Once the local council approves all the renovations, the Chateau will become an extremely secure and luxurious home.
