Cameron Diaz unveils footwear collection for fashion label Pour La Victoire

Looking for ‘something clean’ without ‘too many bells-and-whistles’? Then just pick Pour La Victoire! Because that’s how Cameron Diaz describes her first footwear collection created for the high fashion label. Diaz became artistic director of Pour La Victoire last summer after signing a two-year contract. Result? Slick peep-toe booties with cool textures and contrasting color patterns! Who knew the In Her Shoes actress’ association with shoes would extend to more than just her film role!
The 41 year old has inducted sexy ankle straps and cutout detailing in her hall of hallowed designs along with lower heels for the perfect style-comfort balance. We also look forward to shades of black, white and grey adding an air of sophistication. The actress-turned-shoe-designer, however, won’t have her name on the line or feature in any advertisements.

‘I don’t want girls to aspire to be me. That’s not what this brand is about. It’s not about wearing a shoe I would wear,’ she explained. ‘I want them to see themselves in this shoe.’ Well said Ms. Diaz! As for “them”, they can see themselves in her shoes (no filmy pun intended) when the collection comes out this fall on ShopStyle.com. Her selection of heels and booties will be priced from $250.
