Acqua di Parma bottles the scent of Sicily into new fragrance

The trend these days is to capture the essence of locales. Sometimes, even its air. Italy’s city of art and sea, Sicily, is captured into a bottle of fragrance by the endearing Acqua di Parma. This adds to the brand’s Mediterranean inspired collection and is called Cedro Di Taormina. As the name suggests, it is a scent dedicated to the cedar trees and citrus gardens of Taormina, where green landscapes, blue sea, fruit-filled air is wedded with the aggression of volcanic rock formations.

The scent forms a combination of three elements – fire, earth and wind. The top composition is a blend of fruity citrus, petit grain and basil. The middle is composed of black pepper and lavender scents while the base is made of cistus labdanum, vetiver and Virginian cedar.
