Christian Louboutin kicks off Spring-Summer 2019 season with a fresh, city-inspired collection

The much-awaited Spring-Summer 2019 season is here and one of the first collections to greet us fashion-hungry is the quirky Loubigraf Collection, coming straight from the house of French maverick Christian Louboutin. As expected, the designer styles with a waft of rebellion, only to perfectly reflect his urban inspirations in an idiosyncratic ensemble of footwear and accessories.

The city-inspired collection showcases a bold use of color and prints and displays a sense of dynamism, that is no stranger to urban hustlers. First in the series to strike us are the Rantus Orlato sneakers, that feature a lethal combination of three prints with black and white piping for a bold look. Equally mesmerizing (if not more!) is the Marimalus pump coming in two palettes of cool green and blue, or warm yellow and red along with the use of gradual spikes that boldly cover the heels, in silver or gold.

There’s also the delicious Paloma bag covered in brightly colored strass as well as the So Kate Booty Stilettoes in a black and white pattern that ingeniously hides the ‘Louboutin’ inscription for the keen-eyed to decipher. Pieces from the collection were also displayed in life-size forms at an exclusive Loubigraf exhibition for those willing to sink it all in! From graphic boots, heels, sneakers and more, there’s a little something for everyone in the Loubigraf Collection! And if eclectic prints are your thing, the new Louboutin collection will certainly not fail you!
