British fragrance house Penhaligon will continue its partnership with the British Fashion Council as the official scent of London Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2015. The perfume house has been the official supplier at London Fashion Week and London Collections since 2013. Previously the brand has used the fragrances- Quercus, Lily of the Valley, Blenheim, Bouquet and Bayolea at high profile events. This year, the brand’s Samarkand perfume has been declared as the official scent.
Samarkand is an exotic scent with combination notes of sweet flowers, spices and woods. The scent was inspired by the ancient city of Samarkand, one of the oldest cities in the world.
Samarkand fragrance comes in the form of a candle. The hand-blended candle is made with a naturally derived soy wax and is packed with essential oils. Samarkand candle is available in all Penhaligon’s boutiques and their website for £32 (approx. $51).
