The much celebrated distillery Glenmorangie has announced a collaboration with luxury shirt label Thomas Pink to create three “perfect pairings” of their Unnecessarily Well Made brands, each representing a unique personality among the distinguished men who are their customers. Both Glenmorangie and Thomas Pink boast rich histories of a tireless commitment to excellence and perfection. Commemorating their “Unnecessarily Well Made” approach the brands have created three distinct sets each consisting of a Glenmorangie single malt whisky paired with a Thomas Pink shirt that capture the spirit of “The Classic Gentleman,” “The Ultimate Perfectionist” and “The Discerning Adventurer.”
The Classic Gentleman pairing offers up the Glenmorangie Original alongside Thomas Pink’s Classic White Shirt. The whisky is elegant and floral which forms the cornerstone of Glenmorangie’s variety, while the shirt forms the trusted foundation to every man’s wardrobe.
The Discerning Adventurer features The Lasanta Sherry Cask Finish, a 12 year old Single Malt extra matured in Oloroso Sherry casks, paired with the Bengal Stripe Shirt collection from Thomas Pink which references the colorful fabrics of East India.
Finally in the Ultimate Perfectionist set we are treated to the Glenmorangie Signet, which is the jewel in the crown of Glenmorangie as well as Thomas Pink’s Imperial Collection, a line that combines skilful craftsmanship and the finest fabrics that the label has to offer.
The collaboration will be marked by an exclusive shopping event at Thomas Pink’s New York flagship store. Guests will be treated to an experience of these pairings and taste the Glenmorangie expressions.
The three pairings themselves will be available at Reserve Bar until the end of April; the Classic Gentleman Pairing will retail for $234, the Discerning Adventurer for $269 while the Ultimate Perfectionist will be priced at $579. The pairings make perfect gifts for the special man in your life, be it a doting father, husband or brother.
