LL Armcandy of the week: Louis Vuitton Cannes Bag

Louis Vuitton’s Cannes bag is part of the brand’s new launches for Fall 2018. This bucket bag is a structured and shapely take on the trend which was kicked into high gear by Alexander Wang’s world famous Diego bag. Unlike the soft and slouchy Diago, LV’s Cannes bag features straight, upright sides and a zippered closure. As PurseBlog pointed out, this gives the Cannes bag a more formal look as opposed to the usual drawstring versions.

The bag is available in Epi leather and Monogram Inverse versions, while we usually love a good textured leather bag, in this case we’ll make an exception as the caramel hued LV monogram seems to perfectly complement the smart-but-quirky feel of this bag. If you’re more of a plain leather lover, you can choose from colors like black and off-white (Banane). The leather versions are priced at $2,600 while the monogram version is priced at $2,340.
