Louis Vuitton jewelry store opens up at Place Vendome, Paris

If you want to buy luxury jewelry in Paris, then LVMH has a new address that you might want to check out. Paris’ Place Vendome opened its arms for a Louis Vuitton jewellery store in a bid to add jewelry to take its fashion portfolio beyond leather goods. This new store has something for everyone, as prices on mid-range item start at €650 ($820). You can also pick up diamond and sapphire-encrusted necklaces and rings worth millions. Plus, like its contemporaries, the store will offer not just stock collections but also made-to-measure pieces.

The jewelry market the world over is estimated by strategy consultants Roland Berger to be at around ($50.76 billion). Reports further suggest that this could grow by 10 percent a year until 2014, swifter than both apparel or perfume and cosmetics, something that LV has its strong hold on.
