So pretty you will never want to light them – Louis Vuitton partners with Marc Newson for exotic candles

Awe-inspiring us with its simple yet magical aesthetics yet again is Louis Vuitton that recently unveiled a set of four scented candles that also double as ceramic mugs. An interior’s delight, each of the four wax wonders carry a unique smell and fit perfectly into their neatly done ceramic holders.

After creating perfumes for the brand back in 2016, master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud has now developed the set of candles for the fashion house, that each depict a unique experience. For instance, the L’Air du Jardin summons the spirit of rosebuds, Île Blanche the warmth of the summer sun and fresh cotton, the Feuilles d’Or of a walk through plush green forests, and Dehors Il Neige of fires in a snowy night. To compliment the scented beauties, we have simple, yet chic ceramic holders created by Marc Newson that come with a handle made of natural leather. The decanters also come with a gold-finish metal lid that beautifully doubles as a coaster.

The luxe LV candles are meant to ‘capture nature’s scent and translate it into a fragrance that fits the storied house’s essence’. However, the artsy appeal apart, they seem to add a scene of sheen and are perfect for every décor. The Louis Vuitton scented candles retail for $185 each and will be available for purchase onward November 5, online and in select stores.
