Triumph celebrates 125th anniversary with a Swarovski studded corset


Triumph, the famed undergarments and lingerie brand turned 125. And to celebrate its 125th anniversary, some fragments of their illustrious history, dated as early as 1890, made for a pretty sight at the Triumph show at Singapore. Highlighting the event was a black corset encrusted in with thousands of red Swarovski crystals. Studded in rhinestone the Triumph ‘Passage of Dreams’ show finale piece was very well received at the Audi Fashion Festival 2011. The piece is priced at $12,500.

Other highlights of the show included “a corset adorned with delicious looking candy, marshmallows and chewy gummy bears”. Started by corset maker Johann Gottfried Spiesshoffer and businessman Micheal Braun in 1886 at Germany, the brand is one of the most celebrated lingerie brand the world over.
