Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with Virgil Abloh has sent fashion fans into a frenzy. Celebrated for his work in the art and music industry, Virgil Abloh’s appointment as LV men’s artistic director is one of the most interesting developments in the fashion world.
After much anticipation, an Abloh-designed set of LV sneakers has made an appearance on Louis Vuitton’s website. Imagine your humble sneakers, with a touch of LV and Virgil Abloh! Offered in low-top, mid-top, and high-top, the LV 408 trainers are crafted with premium calf leather, adorning vibrant pops of green, blue and red.

Another version also includes the signature Louis Vuitton branding handwritten by Abloh himself on the lateral sides. The sneaker was first spotted by the fashion industry on the runway as part of the brand’s spring 2019 men’s collection.
According to Abloh, the shoes are crafted in Italy and six hours of stitching are dedicated to each shoe. All three versions of the Abloh-designed LV 408 Trainer are available now on Louis Vuitton’s website between USD 1,200 and USD 1,600.
