Vogue UK’s short satire film reveals the Minions take on fashion

We all know that Despicable Me’s Minions were created to help nice-evil guy Gru take over the world; but who would have thought they would in real life too? Okay, we might be exaggerating but you have to admit that their influence has had far reaching effects. Vogue UK brought some of that evidence to light through the new release of the Vogue Presents: The Minions, a short video that coincides with the worldwide release of the much-awaited film ‘The Minions’.

The video has Vogue’s Suzy Menkes, an internationally acclaimed fashion critic, along with other prominent figures in the fashion world like shoe designer Rupert Sanderson, jewellery designer Stephen Webster, Dolce & Gabbana, Lavin fashion designer Alber Elbaz and London’s leading milliner Stephen Jones; who all talk about how they’ve been fooling the world into believing that their collections are their own, when in fact, all the ideas are from the ‘bad boy’ minions themselves!
