This is more than out of the ordinary. You get to know so much with what follows. Firstly there was a bathtub made of pure gold at The Kominato Hotel near Tokyo. Secondly it got stolen (poor owner). And thirdly it was almost worth a million dollar. Some lucky-as-ever guy broke into the hotel and god alone knows how he managed to filch this 71x121x65 cm pure gold bathtub which weights nothing less than 80 kilos. He probably broke it into pieces; that’s all I can think of, as there seems no other possible way of stealing it.
With that size and weight he couldn’t possibly take it in a bag. He would need a crane. Whoever he was, if he reads this he will be grinning ear to ear; talk about Fortune favoring the bold!
