Exclusive Ipods to honor the 60th year of Thai King’s reign

Nowadays, people are resorting to various marketing gimmicks to endorse new products or to boost existing products sales. Some company in Thailand has also employed the same strategy. In Thailand the royal family holds a special place in every heart, a symbolic figure that describes their entire nation and nationality. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of Thai King’s succession to the throne, certain organization, namely IT CITY and Apple Thailand have created 9999 (Thai lucky number) exclusive Nanos.

Each Nano comes in a special box which contains a case, a letter of authenticity, and the iPod. The King himself has nothing to do with these iPods. Many other companies are selling other products; T-shirts are probably the most common nowadays. But since these are Nanos created in special number, it has made to the news.
