It may just be a mere coincidence that Apple launched its long-awaited iWatch amid fashionistas and the next to follow the lead is Samsung. Samsung has teamed up with Diesel Black Gold to design exclusive pieces featuring the new Samsung Gear S that will debut down the runway of the brand’s Spring/ Summer 2015 show. Since the smart watch market is a nascent one and with the wearable technology becoming all so stylish, tech giants are either poaching a bevy of fashion-industry insiders or collaborating with fashion brands.
The creative team at Diesel Gold Black has used the innovative technology of the Samsung Gear S as a foundation to create a collection of unique pieces for the SS 15 collection. The series of customized accessories are characterized by signature leather and metal details, drawing design inspiration from highly stylized New Wave rock stars and tough rockabilly heroines.

Samsung and Diesel will also collaborate to make a 360 video of the Diesel Black Gold runway show to play on the Samsung Gear VR.
