Work out with Nike Plus

You must have danced to the tunes of good music umpteen times. Now refurbish, get you work-out gear on and exercise to the tunes of music. If you have no clue what we are talking about then let us update you, for the coolest gizmo on the block is here to rock you. Nike Plus is a result of the alliance of two of the world’s most ground-breaking and pioneering companies- Nike and Apple. It is a must-have for the ultimate synthesis of sport and music: a pair of Nike+ shoes, an iPod nano, and the Nike+iPod Sport Kit. The sports kit consists of a sensor that you insert under the liner of your shoe and the receiver has to be attached to the nano. The shoe sensor transmits info such as distance, time, speed, and calories burnt to the iPod which is displayed on the screen.

In case you are in a rigorous training session, a voice speaks the data, so you don’t have to look at the screen. The sport kit will be available in late June for a suggested retail price of $29 (US). The first Nike shoes to support the Nike plus is the moiré costing $100 and will be available from July.
