Following in the footsteps of Ralph Lauren, British luxury house Burberry has now opened up a café at their flagship store located at 121 Regent Street in London. The café will be called “Thomas’s” after the brand founder Thomas Burberry and will have an all-day menu consisting of favorite British foods ranging from afternoon tea, to lobster with chips. Thomas’s will be open seven days a week and will offer discerning foodies the chance to sample the finest seasonal produce from small farmers and artisan suppliers from around the UK.
The café is part of the store’s expansion to include a new area dedicate entirely to gifting. This “Gifting area” will house a seasonally updated collection of items including luggage and stationery, homeware etc. that can be customized with embroidery, embossing and custom wrapping. Thomas’s will be a part of this gifting area and will sport décor inspired by British craftsmanship. The pictures reveal a tasteful interior that contrasts cream walls and floors with dark wood furniture. We’re ready to move to London now.
