New York restaurant offers Ice Cream Sundae with Maubossin ring for $1,000

If you have been thinking of going down on your knees, Bagatelle restaurant in the New York City is probably where you should pop the question. The restaurant from next month will offer Mauboussin Mega Sundae costing a staggering $1,000. The “Mauboussin Mega Sundae” consists of an ice cream sundae plus a Mauboussin ring.

The ice cream sundae is made with scoops of homemade vanilla ice cream and Dom Pérignon Rosé sorbet with gold leaves topped with chocolate truffles, French macaroons, chocolate vodka sauce and gilded brownies with a dash of fresh whipped cream all served in an over-sized martini glass.

The sundae will be topped off with a $530 black stainless steel and 14 Cts white gold ring made by the French jewelry company Mauboussin.

The only other restaurant in the city offering $1,000 Grand Opulence Sundae is Serendipity.
