One of Latin America’s finest chefs to bring the best of Peruvian dining to Hong Kong

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is all geared to welcome Peruvian chef Diego Munoz, the head chef of Astrid y Gaston to host the first pop up restaurant from 19th to 21st January 2015. The Tian and Di function rooms at the Mandarin will play host to the Peruvian spread of an 8 course food and wine pairing dinner.

This head chef has coveted titles under his belt. His restaurant was recently awarded the second place Latin America’s 50 Best restaurants and 18th place on the World’s best Restaurant List in 2014. Diego has learnt his culinary skills in Spain, Paris, Sydney and Canada.

Through this three day extravaganza the chef will cook up the most innovative and authentic South American dishes for all to taste and savour. Esparrago Peruano (Peruvian Asparagus), Chupe de Langosta ( lobster Chupe) and Seco de Cordeo (lamb dry stew ) are some of the dishes that he will be preparing for the 8 course meal.
