The Crystal Macarons will be created in partnership with renowned French glassmaker and jeweler, LALIQUE in addition to an extraordinary cocktail program and exclusive wine vault dining experience for groups. So why exactly are they the world’s most expensive macarons? Well, the macarons are made with white tea, decorated with gold and rests on a cushion of sugar crystals within a LALIQUE Dahlia-shaped crystal box that guests can take home as a keepsake for $9,703. Regulars at the hotel would now that this is a play on the resort’s address at 9703 Collins Avenue. The Crystal Macarons also come with an overnight stay at one of the new four-bedroom Sky Palace Suites and are served with Afternoon Tea on one of the suite’s four oceanfront balconies.

The resort has also partnered with LALIQUE to develop a unique cocktail program consisting of three signature cocktails served in beautiful LALIQUE glassware for $200 each. For each cocktail, you order you are allowed to take the LALIQUE glassware home with you. For regular guests, LALIQUE will specially engrave your name into your glass, which will be kept at the bar and served exclusively for you when visiting.
