Campana Brothers create The Armchair of a Thousand Eyes using Fendi Bag Bugs

You’re going to rethink your definition of “statement furniture” when you see the latest collaboration from Fendi and the Campana Brothers. Called, “The Armchair of Thousand Eyes” this oddball chair uses over 100 of Fendi’s famous Bag Bugs and gilded brass to catch your attention. Unveiled at Milan Design Week 2015, the Armchair of a Thousand Eyes references another Campana Brothers creation the Banquette. The chair uses pretty luxe materials including kidassia goat fur, shearling, Mongolia wool and rabbit fur.

“When I saw the bag bugs, these Fendi little monster charms, for the very first time, I thought that they would be perfect for creating a striking chair,” Humberto Campana explained. “One year later it is exactly what has happened, thanks to Silvia Venturini Fendi who involved me in this project.”
