Fiat 500 Collection of sofas and tables pays ode to the car

Unusual forms are either exciting or horrendous. Here “unusual” has taken a creative form, one that’s innovative and spreads a smile. Miami-based MADinItaly has created a set of sofas, consoles, and tables based on the classic Fiat 500 fronts. One look at these, and it would certainly remind you of the sofas made from car trunks. The Fiat 500 Collection is designer Lapo Elkann, who has collaborated with Meritalia, an Italian company specializing in high-quality designer furniture, to create innovative units taking inspiration from the compact Fiat 500. Interesting to look at, the sofa’s are not that lengthy, but measure 50.5 inches across.

It has been made of s steel perimeter frame. You can opt for a seat in fabric or leather, which can be ordered in different colors. However, the favorite seat cover anticipated to run more is the Italian tricolor style. Also included in the collection is a table and console that perfectly matches the sofa.

However, although the Fiat 500 collection is interesting, I doubt it would be the priority buy to furnish any home. Rather it might be the best furniture to be kept in your kid’s play den.

The Fiat 500 Panorama sofa starts at around $7,000, while the table and console each cost $5,500.
