Here is a coffee table that burns money, but not literally

Alejandro Monge and Amarist Studio have collaborated to build a classic piece of art for the filthy rich, with all the pun intended. This uber cool (and useful?) coffee table is designed in a way that makes it appear like there’s a mound of burning 50 € banknotes inside. This looks more genuine thanks to artwork that makes it seem like an actual flame is burning from the pyramid’s top.
But of course, it’s not real – The money pile, ashes, and the concrete are all actually made out of paper, paint, and sculpting resins, which we must admit, looks disturbingly real.

What is the exact message this idiosyncratic table is trying to convey? That’s something that remains largely ambiguous.
