MTI Baths Juliet freestanding tub splashes glamor into a bath space

“Path-breaking” has oft been confused with peculiar. Functionality for the sake of functionality has paraded around in lackluster forms of art for art’s sake has superseded simplicity. But not with MTI Baths’ latest bath creation! The subtle yet striking Juliet invokes art in bathing with its mold-breaking, vivid versatility. Concurs Audrey Newsome of Audrey Newsome Designs, “what makes it unique is that as your viewing angle changes, so does its shape to your eyes. The form moves with you.” Yet, at its core, it retains its essence of usability.

“The inspiration for the design came from an antique bowl, which evoked something striking and unexpected,” says Newsome. Created by Audrey Newsome in collaboration with MTI’s President and Chief of Design Russell Adams, the bathtub “crosses the lines of traditional and transitional, and yet is also ideal for a contemporary bath space.” Juliet has been produced with high-quality materials setting together in a design that seeks to revolutionize a bath space. Fitted with an integral pedestal and integrated slotted overflow with a chrome toe-tap drain, it uplifts a bathing experience.
