These refrigerators from Smeg feature one-of-a-kind artwork by Thierry Noir

Thierry Noir is the artist best known for his quirky cartoon style street art. His work is instantly recognizable thanks to his use of signature characters and colors. But while walls are usually his canvas, this artist showed no hesitation when presented with an alternative and somewhat unconventional medium: refrigerators!

While on an assignment in Sydney, Noir spared some time to put his stamp on a few FAB fridges from Smeg. These black and white works of art are global firsts and with only 6 created, they are extremely limited edition. Each refrigerator took a day to complete.

These are undoubtedly collectors’ items, but there’s no word from the company as to if and how they will be sold. Smeg did say though that their FAB refrigerators are available in a range of colors and suitable for amateurs at home to add their own art to. Each one is priced at $3290.
