Savoir – the maker of the world’s most luxurious handcrafted beds have debuted two new designs that will make staying in bed a hedonistic pleasure. Both beds feature the heritage brand’s high headboards in rich colors and use natural materials that offer a breathable and temperature controlled surface for enhanced sleep. The new designs are called MAX 01 and Harlech 12.
Designed by Savoir’s Creative Director, Mandeep Dillon, the MAX 01 is upholstered in a rich red woven horse hair fabric by John Boyd. The bed may be all about clean lines, but the deep box springs speak of unparalleled comfort. Savoir is well-known for its use of traditional horse hair in its mattresses, toppers and even box springs. John Boyd’s Paso horse hair fabric has journeyed all the way from Argentina to London to be a part of Savoir’s creations. A full bedset of the MAX 01 as pictured, costs $78,650.
Pantone;s color of the year “Greenery” is central to this design whose grand headboard is upholstered in plush Donghia velvet in the lush green hue. The bed also incorporates Pantone’s pale pink shade for 2017, Pale Dogwood. Details like the hand places brass plated nailing on the velvet headboard make this bed the statement maker of any bedroom suite.
