Joining the short but niche list of five-star hotels in Azerbaijan is Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, with two properties – the Boulevard Baku and Intourist Hotel Baku. The five-star Boulevard Hotel Baku, named after the eponymous seafront walking promenade offers 818 guestrooms and suites in the heart of Baku White City district. The hotel opens its doors in time for the inaugural 2015 European Games taking place in Azerbaijan next month.
The Green House Kitchen is the hotel’s main restaurant serving seasonal Mediterranean cuisine; the Black City Café is known for its grilled and smoked comfort food from New York City and White City Bar & Lounge, adjacent to the hotel lobby are the three dining options at the hotel. An executive lounge, six multi-functional meeting rooms, a 1,300 square meter ballroom and state-of-the-art conference facilities make for the largest convention space on offer in Azerbaijan.
The hotel also features a Spa with six spa suits, including three couple suites offering treatments by leading spa brand Elemis. Other facilities include a steam bath and sauna, a relaxation area, hands and nails treatment salon, private male and female changing rooms and a state-of-the-art gymnasium.
At the Intourist Hotel Baku, guests can dine at the hotel’s B&B Club restaurant, bar with its interactive open kitchen and wood-burning oven and semi-private dining areas. The B&B Club also hosts Baku’s first Bubbles Bar, offering over 30 kinds of champagne and the largest selection of vodkas, vintage spirits and wines. There is a Day Spa and Wellness area, complete with a high-tech gym, saunas, steam baths and two Spa suites. A fully-equipped meeting space called Room 1934, library area and business corner completes the hotel’s multi-purpose offering.
