The iconic Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts brand will open its newest luxury resort in the heart of California’s wine country, Napa Valley. Set to open in early 2018, the Four Seasons resort in Napa Valley is located in the picturesque village of Calistoga, the home of Kenefick Ranch Winery, Chateau Montelena Winery and Sterling Winery.
The new property will offer 85 guest rooms and 20 one and two-story private residence villas available for purchase. Four Seasons will manage the residences that consist of multiple master suites, an owner’s wine cellar, indoor and outdoor dining and vast entertainment spaces. Residence owners will have full access to the resort amenities that include three unique food and beverage offerings, multiple pools and a state-of-the-art fitness center and a world-class spa whose USP will be its natural geothermal waters unique to the Calistoga region. Taking full advantage of its indoor and outdoor living spaces, the resort will also offer an event barn and 12 indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces.
The resort will also feature a private, fully-operational winery and hand-farmed vineyard, ultimately offering guests a grape-to-glass experience. The resort also plans to launch its limited collection of wines on-site, under the direction of acclaimed winemaker Thomas Brown.
“As we extend our presence in California, having a property in Napa Valley, a preferred destination for our luxury guests, is essential,” said J. Allen Smith, president and CEO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, in a statement. “This is a unique opportunity to combine a privately-owned and operated winery and vineyard with a world-class luxury resort. We look forward to working with Alcion and Bald Mountain to bring Four Seasons legendary quality and service to Napa Valley.”
The Four Seasons Napa Valley resort will be the brand’s second Four Seasons private residences, joining the neighboring one in San Francisco.
