With its turquoise waters and white-sand beaches, the Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France is all set to welcome families and their younger guests with some magical and adventurous new additions. The stunning LVMH maison has welcomed a resident mermaid to make pool-time truly magical and adventurous. The water babies set off for their aqua adventure in the Caribbean Sea with their flippers, mask and snorkel equipment. Under the guidance of an instructor, they will get the chance to tickle sea turtles, hunt for star fish, play around with stripy clown fish and last but not least, join Amaryllis the mermaid, who comes from her underwater home to play and teach her little friends all about the marine environment. After a day of fun, the kiddies are escorted to the beach for a picnic prepared by Chef Yann Vinsot.
The resort has also launched an art programs for their younger guests, over four years. Those with an artistic flair are sure to enjoy the two-hour program with painter Kate Kova. Equipped with easel and palette, the budding artists will take inspiration from the Maison’s tropical surroundings and create their very own masterpieces throughout their stay, creating their own island souvenirs.
For those looking to enjoy some adventures with their family, the resort also provides an action-packed day of fun including a quad bike tour of the island, a trip aboard the infamous Yellow Submarine for some underwater fun, a feet-in-the-sand seaside lunch at the Case de l’Isle and if you’re still up for it, an afternoon of snorkeling and swimming with turtles, psychedelic fish and friendly baby sharks.
The Maison is soon gaining reputation as a luxury family destination with special all-round attention given to ensure kids have the time of their life. Parents can sit back and relax as the little ones paddle in the shallows beaches, building sand castles. Other activities including horseback riding above the white sands of Gouverneur Beach, or experience some Caribbean pirate action at The Fort Carl overlooking Shell Beach, Gustavia are also available.
At the Maison, the comforts of the younger guests is top priority as amenities like bespoke Baudou baby cots, with exclusively designed sheets embroidered with seahorses and stars in the taupe and blush pink colors of the Maison, as well as a Bugaboo Chameleon designed for walking comfortably on sandy beaches and island paths are available. A special children’s menu including baby purées, comfortable rattan highchairs, Baudou bibs and baby tableware are also available. In each room, child size bathrobes, beach towels, flip flops and slippers as well as a snuggly soft toy will ensure they feel welcome and special throughout their stay at the Maison.
