Time for Giorgio Armani to expand his horizons in style. The name that is one of the biggest fashion chains in the world has plans to enter the hotel industry again, this time at Britain. The venture in question is a 200-plus room luxury hotel that may be situated at Knightsbridge, west London. The already iconic location is also home to the Harrods store. Financial Mail reports that alongside his Armani Hotels subsidiary, the new place might also be converted into office space or an old hotel into a site that demands over £300 million ($495 million).
Armani saw his first hotel in Dubai as a joint effort with Emaar Properties in April last year, followed by one in Milan. Other possible hotel site options include Paris, New York, Tokyo and Shanghai.
