Guests at the Peninsula hotels can now experience Beats by Dre products

If we haven’t already mentioned that Beats is pushing their brand into as many niches as possible, then this should make it quite clear; in a recent partnership with The Peninsula hotel, New York (to be followed by Chicago and Beverly Hills and all 10 of the properties by the end of the year), the audio maker will be supplying their high-end solutions to the hotel so guests can utilize their services while visiting.

Guests staying at The Peninsula hotel, New York will able to avail of complimentary use of dedicated Beats by Dr. Dre audio products like the Studio Wireless headphones, Powerbeats2 Wireless earphones and Beats Pill speaker to “enhance” their audio experience. Of course this is in the event that those who can afford to stay at The Peninsula aren’t already owners of the products. While it seems a little strange for anyone to want to use these very specific products, seeing as most hotel rooms in hotels such as The Peninsula would most likely already be fitted with audio solutions in the way of iPod docks et al, this, if nothing else, is just one more way of getting the Beats brand out there.

It was only very recently announced that the audio company has tied up with Major League Baseball to launch limited edition, team themed Studio Wireless headphones. It’s starting to feel a tad gimmicky or like someone in their marketing department is grasping at straws to push the brand as far as it will go before possibly burning out.

The hotel actually has a Beats menu card in each room where guests can choose a product and have the concierge serve them up on a silver platter, in a manner of speaking, along with a tutorial on how to begin their listening experience. And of course the products themselves are available for purchase at The Spa located in the hotel area.
