The Mandarin Oriental Milan will open its doors to guests beginning July 2015, though room reservations for that time onwards have started. The hotel, with its 73 guestrooms and 31 suites, will have an elegant finish to the interiors. The spa at the hotel will be the best way for guests to pamper themselves with the finest rejuvenating treatments, especially in the Thai massage room. The hotel will also serve fine Italian cuisine prepared by a Michelin starred chef. The address of the hotel is said to be the prime location because of its close proximity to the La Scala, the opera house, and high fashion shopping streets like Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiaga.
Opening – Mid 2015
Six Senses will be making its first European debut with its hotel in the sun kissed valley of Douro, Portugal sometime mid-2015. The resort is tucked away in the serenity and calm of the valley and its surrounding beauty. The hotel’s 71 rooms, spread over 19 acres of land, overlook the lush green mountains, the winding Douro river along with the vineyards on its banks. Besides rooms, there are also villas on the property. Guests of the hotel will be able to unwind with a book in the library or get a wine spa treatment by one of the skilled therapists. Yoga and couples treatments will also be added to the spa menu. The gym and a tennis court will be available for guests to keep fit.

The St. Regis property on the private Isola di San Clemente is the perfect mix of a secluded escape and exploration and will be open to receive guests in the Spring of 2015. The island, which has been around since 1131 and has gone through many historical and cultural phases from pilgrims, to an entertainment center for aristocrats, to a military posting site; is only a 10 minute boat ride away from the main city center by the hotel’s boat transfer. The 146 room St. Regis property comes with lush gardens and the surrounding view of the lagoon, bringing tranquility and a serene experience, ideal for guests to unwind from the hustle of the main city. The hotel grounds will house a few grand dining options to choose from, in different settings to suit the guests’ palettes. The golf course, family activities or city exploring should keep guests busy if they feel the need for some fun. The St. Regis signature butler service will be available round the clock to attend to their guests.
