Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is expanding and this time with its first property in South America. They’ve entered into a contract with the Hotel Corporation of Chile (HCC) and will take over management of a 310-room hotel from August 2017. The hotel will operate as Hotel Santiago throughout the first phase of the renovation and in August 2018 we can expect to see the hotel rebranded as Mandarin Oriental, Santiago. Typical to Mandarin Oriental’s Asian heritage, the hotel will have renovated luxury guest rooms, public areas, and beautifully landscaped gardens.
