The perfect get-away for me has been the beaches for the last twelve years. Nothing like spending lazy days lounging on the white sands reading a book and taking a dip in the sea whenever I fancied. The five-star resorts treat you great but my sights are set on the Necker Islands. For the uninitiated, this island is owned by Sir Richard Branson (of Virgin fame). At $48,000 a night, the private island caters to 28 guests at a time. This 74-acres of paradise is located at the British Virgin Islands, Caribbean Sea. A private boat or chopper is the only way to get to this remote island. Unfortunately, I will have to put this destination on my wishlist as I have neither won the lottery nor does blogging pay that much!
