Pics: Take a look inside the world’s first Game of Throne inspired Ice Hotel in Finland

HBO Nordic has teamed up with Lapland Hotels SnowVillage to give Game of Thrones fans the ultimate fan experience. Together the two entities have created a GOT inspired ice hotel in the resort of Kittilä, which is around 90 minutes outside Hensinki.

The ice hotel features 24 rooms, but only 10 are suites created for overnight guests.

The space is filled with lifelike sculptures created by professionals. Each room features one character from the iconic TV series.

Sculptures on the site include characters like Whitewalkers, the Braavos’ Hall of Faces, an icy Iron Throne, guarded by Gregor Clegane.

Because temperatures inside the hotel can drop to -5 degrees Celsius, guests are encouraged to stay no more than one night in the ice hotel. However, there are log cabins nearby for die-hard fans who just can’t bear to leave.

Guests get a guided tour of the SnowVillage and can enjoy a buffet breakfast in the log restaurant.

Room rates at the GOT hotel will start at $264, and entry into the SnowVillage costs around $13 per ticket. Naturally, the hotel will be open for a limited time (until April) before the spring brings a thaw.
