Royal Atlantis – A $1.4 billion upcoming Tetris shaped luxury resort on the Palm, Dubai

Palm Jumeirah never ceases to amaze us. The artificial archipelago is one of the most ambitious real-estate developments in Dubai, consisting of shopping and dining areas as well as hotels and resorts including the most popular 5 star aqua-themed hotel The Atlantis. Located on the crescent of The Palm and next to the iconic Atlantis resort is the upcoming construction of The Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences by the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD).

To be developed in association with Kerzner International, the resort will stand 46 stories tall and feature private gardens and infinity pools overlooking the ocean and The Palm, to the Sky Pool. The new Sky Pool will soar almost 90 meters above The Palm. Consisting of 800 rooms, suites and 250 luxury hotel apartments, the Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences will cost approximately $1.4 billion and is likely to be completed by 2018.
