Spa of the week – Evian spa at the Palace Hotel Tokyo

The first of its kind in Japan the evian Spa Tokyo is 1,200 sq m of sheer indulgence. Minimalist in design, the Alpine-inspired Spa reflects the serene and natural journey evian natural mineral water takes through the Alps in the form of a loose stone garden at its entrance. Overlooking the Imperial Palace Gardens, the 1,200-square-meter Spa is subtle, serene and a much needed respite from the fast and furious Tokyo city. On a clear day, a majestic, snow-capped Mt. Fuji can be seen in the distance.

Palace-Hotel-Tokyo-F-Evian-Spa-Suite-IIts six treatment rooms including one spa suite are all named after peaks in the Alps. The Spa also features heated baths, a marble sauna, cold plunge pool, dry sauna, reclining baths and separate men’s and women’s relaxation lounges. Well-known brands Anne Semonin and Omnisens products are used in a menu of facials, body scrubs, therapies, journeys and rituals focus on celestial restoration, mineral enrichment, precious nourishment and renewed vitality.
