Suite of the week – Armani Signature Suite in Armani Hotel Milano, Italy

The city of Milan has plenty to be proud of and one of them is Giorgio Armani who hails from the fashion capital. A stay at the Armani Hotel Milano should be a no-brainer for fashion lovers and seekers of the finer things in life. The hotel embodies Giorgio Armani’s unique personality and taste with the Armani aesthetic evident in every nook and cranny. And of course as is with all Armani hotels, it promises a “home-away-from-home experience” in keeping in line with the Armani vision. Now who wouldn’t want to be treated to a vision like that?

Situated in the prestigious Manzoni 31 building in Milan, anchoring the world-famous fashion district Quadrilatero della Moda, the Armani Hotel Milano is only a few minutes away from luxury shopping streets, museums and the nightlife district. The hotel has 95 guestrooms and suites with each element personally designed by Giorgio Armani and chosen for its sculptural, aesthetic and sensual qualities. The gorgeous and ultra stylish Armani Signature Suites make the cut as our preferred suite of the week.

Measuring 2185 sq. ft. and 2045 sq. ft., the Armani Signature Suites are two unique duplex suites located on the second floor. As soon as one enters, one is taken aback by an impressive vestibule entrance and as you walk into your suite it gets even better. A spacious living room with a sweeping curved and stylish staircase is sure to grab the eyeballs. No doubt the Armani taste and style is evident in the plush furnishings and contemporary design. The suite design is smart and elegant, thanks to the neutral color scheme of beiges, greys and blacks. A climb up the staircase leads you to the en-suite bedroom on the upper level, and a private kitchen. If you are a fitness freak, make use of a fully equipped gym with dedicated shower and bathroom in one suite; or if you want to sit back and relax, head to the other for your own private “cinema”. Take your pick from a choice of movies on a 100” LCD screen television and spend the rest of the day watching the Avengers save the world.

We especially like the multifunction iPad that is like a remote, except better. You can use this to manage your in room amenities and entertainment from controlling your TV, air conditioning, and curtains, to getting a wake up call, catching the day’s news or simply calling for room service and making your reservations.

When you pay for the Armani experience you get it all and this includes being pampered to the core. Special touches abound like a “lifestyle manager” appointed to each guest upon arrival. Whether it is to unpack your bags, request a daily evening turndown service, or manage your entertainment; the Armani experience lives up to its promise.

The seventh floor of the building houses the impressive Armani/Ristorante, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto Milan’s skyline and serves fine Italian cuisine with influences from all over the world. An Armani/Bamboo Bar and Armani/SPA provide further opportunities for exquisite in-house indulgence. The bar with its double volume ceiling, louvered window wall and backlit onyx features is the perfect place to simply watch the world go by while enjoying an aperitif or an after-dinner.

Located at the 8th and top floor of the Armani Hotel Milano is the Armani/SPA that offers a blend of signature and personalized treatments. Pamper yourself in their magnificent relaxation pool or head to the refreshment station for healthy servings of the Armani/SPA herbal infusions, special waters and fresh fruit.
